1919	Inaugurated as a wholesaler of alcohol and industrial chemicals in Hiranomachi, Osaka
1924	Fuse Plant started operation in Fuse City (the present Higashi-Osaka City)
1935	Began production of plasticizer (phthalic acid ester, phosphoric acid ester) for the first time in Japan
1937	Daihachi Chemical Industries, Ltd. established
1963	Neyagawa Plant started operation in Osaka
1970	Business expanded into fields of flame retardants and metal extraction agents
1975	Handa Plant started operation in Aichi
1991	Changed its company name to Daihachi Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd.
1993	Fukui Plant started operation in Fukui
1998	Singapore Representative Office opened Spun off the Logistics Department and established Daihachi Maintenance Inc.
1999	Fuse Plant closed
2000	Daihachi Chemical Singapore Pte Ltd opened
2004	Shanghai Representative Office opened
2005	Daihachi Chemical Industry (Changshu) Co.,Ltd. started operation
